Since the start of July, the National Task Force Against Trafficking in Persons has been undertaking a series of activities across the island to sensitize the public on the very real and present issue of human trafficking. The activities culminated on Tuesday, July 30, when Jamaica joined other countries in observance of World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, under the theme ‘Human Trafficking: Call Your Government to Action’.
