Sections of St Mary are now under a 14-day quarantine. The curfew was implemented following an escalation in the number of covid-19 cases in the parish. The communities under lockdown are Dover, Enfield and Annotto Bay. The quarantine order means that the movement of residents will be restricted to prevent new exposures to the disease. Chief Medical Officer Dr Jacquiline Bisasor McKenzie says during the quarantine period teams from the Ministry of Health and Wellness will be on the ground conducting testing, monitoring residents and carrying out contact tracing.
