Infant & Primary Schools to Get New Computers Come January

Roundabout JA | September 9, 2019
Come January, scores of infant and primary school teachers will be clicking their way to improved teaching practices, having received new computers from the government. The provision of ICT tools to educators is a vital part of efforts to ensure Jamaican children are digitally literate and equipped to take advantage of opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields. Minister of Science, Energy and Technology, Fayval Williams says the resources will be distributed under the latest phase of the tablets in schools initiative.
