Earlier this year 14 Jamaicans were named as recipients of the 2023 Chevening scholarships to pursue master’s degrees in the United Kingdom. Chevening is the British government’s international scholarships program funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and partner organizations, allowing recipients the opportunity to study in the UK for one year on a fully funded master’s degree course. Among this year’s scholarship awardees was Deandra Morrison.
