PM to attend Inauguration of new Venezuelan President

Prime Minister, the Most Hon. Portia Simpson Miller leaves the island Friday, April 19, for Caracas for the inauguration of new Venezuelan President, His Excellency Nicolas Madura.
The Prime Minister will be accompanied on the trip by the Hon A.J. Nicholson, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade; Hon. Phillip Paulwell, Minister of Science, Technology, Energy and Mining, along with a support and security team.
The Prime Minister will return to the island Friday afternoon. While the Prime Minister is off the island, Dr. the Hon. Omar Davies, Minister of Transport, Works and Housing will be in charge of the Government.
