PICA Extends Service Beyond Quota

The Passport, Immigration and Citizenship Agency (PICA)  is reporting that  its daily quota of 1,000 at its headquarters was reached at 8.00 a.m. this morning (May 20), as operations started at 6.00 a.m.
The office was able to process all 1,000 customers in good time and was thus able to accommodate the remaining customers who had gathered at its office. The agency will continue to maintain the daily quota and will review the situation at every location each day.
In the meantime, PICA’s regional office in Montego Bay reached its quota of 250 at 11.00 a.m. today, but accommodated the additional persons who were waiting to be served. The office began its operation at 8.30 a.m.
PICA is also reminding customers that for the rest of the week, its offices will open at 6.00 a.m. at its head office at 25 Constant Spring Road. In addition, service at its other location will commence at the following times:
- May Pen – 8.00 a.m.
- Portmore – 8.00 a.m.
- At Ann’s Bay – 8.00am
- Mandeville – 7.30 a.m.
- Montego Bay 8.30 a.m.
