This year’s programme was facilitated by organisers from the University of Technology, Jamaica (UTechJa) Students’ Union Council in tandem with the JIS, under the theme ‘Empower to Inspire: Nurturing Tomorrow’s Leaders’. The programme, which was first held in 1999, now serves six Corporate Area communities: Highlight View, Tavern, Kintyre, Sandy Park, August Town and Hermitage. Students participating benefited from academic interventions, among other inputs, which were facilitated this year by organisers from the University of Technology, Jamaica (UTechJa) Students’ Union Council in tandem with the JIS, under the theme ‘Empower to Inspire: Nurturing Tomorrow’s Leaders’.
