The first Supplementary Estimates for the 2013/14 financial year will be tabled in the House of Representatives on February 25.
This was disclosed by Leader of Government Business in the Lower House, and Minister of Science, Technology, Energy and Mining, Hon. Phillip Paulwell, during the sitting of the House of Representatives on January 21.
Mr. Paulwell also informed that the Tax Measures Committee will be meeting before the tabling of the Supplementary Estimates, with the report from the committee to be tabled also on February 25.
The Estimates are to be discussed by the Public Administration and Appropriations Committee (PAAC) on February 27. It will then be debated in the House of Representatives on March 6.
The 2013/14 Estimates of Expenditure were approved in May in the House, which showed that $370.5 billion was allocated for Recurrent (House-keeping) expenses and $150.38 billion for Capital (Development) expenses.
