The Ministry of Finance and the Public Service brought its services directly to the public on Wednesday (October 9) during the second staging of its ‘At Your Service’ Expo.

The event, which took place at the AC Hotel by Marriott Kingston, is a key event in celebration of Customer Service Week.

It showcased diverse services offered by the Ministry’s divisions, departments and agencies, reinforcing their commitment to service excellence.

The Expo provided customers with a unique opportunity to engage directly with representatives from different governmental sectors, allowing for immediate feedback and interaction.

Acting Director of the Ministry’s Corporate Communications and Public Relations Branch, Shakiel Rochester Shorter, said the decision to stage another Expo was intended to demonstrate to clients that “we are committed to customer service and that we are driven by service excellence”.

“We asked our customers to hold us accountable to set standards, and we [wanted] to hear from them,” she added.
