The laboratory at the Cornwall Regional Hospital (CRH) in Montego Bay, St. James, is closed for repairs.
A statement from the Western Regional Health Authority’s (WRHA) Board of Management advised that the ventilation system is being renovated. The laboratory is slated to be re-opened on Friday, May 13.
The WRHA said the closure will affect outpatients who have tests scheduled during the period.
These clients are asked to contact the hospital at 952-5100-9, prior to attending, for further information on their appointments.
The WRHA also advised that the hospital’s Blood Donor Unit has been relocated to the Isolation Building, which is situated in the car park adjacent to the Accident and Emergency Unit.
