Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Mining, Hon. Floyd Green (fourth right), cuts the ribbon to officially open phase one of the newly rehabilitated Cornwall Top farm road in St. Elizabeth on November 28. Joining Mr. Green are (from left), Mayor of Black River, Councillor Richard Solomon; Councillor for the Lacovia Division, George Powell; State Minister in the Agriculture Ministry, Franklin Witter; Minister of State in the Ministry of Science, Energy, Telecommunications and Transport and Member of Parliament for St. Elizabeth North Western, Hon. Hutchinson (third right); Principal Director of Technical Services at the Rural Agricultural Development Authority (RADA), Winston Simpson (second right); and Director of Engineering Services, Clayton Williams (right). They are joined by farmer Dionne Blake (fifth right) and other members of the community. The thoroughfare was repaired as part of the Ministry’s National Farm Road Rehabilitation Programme.
