Increasing awareness among Jamaican youth about the harmful effects of substance abuse is one of the missions of the National Council on Drug Abuse (NCDA). In doing so the Council executes awareness campaigns conducts research about drug use on the island.
NCDA Research Analyst, Uki Atkinson recently sat down with Theodore Henry on the JIS Televisión programme Get the Facts to discuss upcoming research projects being undertaken by the council. Here’s an excerpt of their discussion.
