Prime Minister Simpson Miller and Haiti President

Prime Minister, the Most Hon. Portia Simpson Miller, makes a point during discussion with President of Haiti, Michel Martelly, prior to the start of the first working session on day one of the second summit of Heads of State and Government of the European Union (EU) and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) at the headquarters of the Council of the European Union in Brussels, Belgium on Wednesday (June 10). The session focused on “reinvigorating the bi-regional partnership” and explored ways of strengthening cooperation among the 28 EU member nations and the 33 countries of CELAC, includes Jamaica and Haiti. Prime Minister Simpson Miller is leading Jamaica’s delegation to the two-day summit, which takes place June 10 to 11.
