Heads of Executive Agencies (EA) and Members of the EA Pension Scheme are invited to a General Meeting at the Knutsford Court Hotel in New Kingston on Tuesday, November 24, to discuss the performance of the fund.
The meeting, scheduled to begin at 2:00 pm, is organised by the Board of Trustees of the EA Pension Scheme under the theme: ‘Building a Solid Foundation for the Future.’
Members will hear how the scheme is performing; strategies to maximize the benefit of the fund; current issues relating to pensions in Jamaica; and pension “tax or investment”.
Among those scheduled to address the meeting are Deputy Financial Secretary, Ministry of Finance and Planning, Wayne Jones; Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government and Community Development, Denzil Thorpe; and Dr. Andre McDonald of Suretime Emergency Medical Services, who will be the guest speaker.
There will also be presentations from Fund Managers, National Commercial Bank Insurance; Actuaries, Coke and Associates Eckler Partners; and KPMG, auditors for the Pension Fund.
There will also be exhibits, giveaways and entertainment.
