By: , June 9, 2017

The Full Story

The Dr. Elaine Bryan Foundation is inviting applications from tertiary and high school students for scholarships to the Global Education Consultants Group (GECG) – Microsoft summer mentorship programme.

The Foundation will be awarding 10 scholarships to the programme, which will see students visiting the Microsoft Office in Atlanta, Georgia in the United States.

The scholarships will cover the cost of the programme, and includes meals and materials used.

“All is required of the students is to write a short essay, just a page long, just so I can see who they helped before and I can see what their strengths are, how proud they are of being Jamaican. Talk about their plans to give back to Jamaica and that sort of thing. A group of us will look at the application and determine which one we will give funding to,” head of the Foundation, Dr. Elaine Bryan, said in a recent interview with JIS News.
