The following statement was issued today by the Honourable Olivia Grange, Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, the Jamaica Football Federation and National Coach Theodore Whitmore.

At a meeting held at the offices of the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment Sport on April 13, 2018, the following were agreed:

1. Mr. Whitmore would withdraw his recently submitted resignation and continue as Head Coach of the Reggae Boyz,
2. The Jamaica Football Federation will offer Mr. Whitmore a new contract, and
3. All issues between Mr. Whitmore and the JFF are now considered settled.
