The following is a release from the Police Service Commission:

The Police Service Commission, (PSC) advises, that it has accepted the resignation of Rear Admiral Hardley Lewin as Commissioner of Police, with effect from Friday, 6th November, 2009.
The PSC has also appointed Assistant Commissioner of Police Owen Ellington to act as Commissioner of Police, with effect from the 7th November, 2009.
The PSC will invite applications to fill the post of Commissioner of police through public advertisements.
