The Full Story

The Exam and Assessment Administration Services Branch of the Ministry of Education, Skills, Youth and Information (MOESYI) is inviting qualified teachers to serve as Markers for the electronic evaluation of the 2025 Grade Five Primary Exit Profile (PEP) assessment. Applicants must be trained teachers with a minimum of three years’ work experience and currently teaching at the primary-school level (grades four, five or six).

Candidates should possess an in-depth understanding of the National Standards Curriculum (NSC). Preference will be given to applicants who have participated in any of the Exam and Assessment Administration Services Branch’s assessment training workshops. Successful candidates will be required to have a reliable internet connection and a functioning laptop or desktop computer (cell phones, tablets or other electronic devices are not permitted).

All marking activities will utilise the Google Chrome browser. Markers will collaborate as part of a team to assess open-ended response questions in subjects such as Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies or Science, using established scoring rubrics to ensure accurate evaluation.

The marking process is scheduled to take place during five e-marking activities from July 15 to July 31, 2025. Applicants must be available to fully participate in these activities. Interested teachers are invited to apply online via the link provided – MOESY&I 2025 PEP 5 E-Marking Application Form. After submitting their applications, applicants will receive an automated acknowledgement. The deadline for submission is June 22, 2025.
