The Ministry of Labour & Social Security is aware of concerns that have been circulating regarding a reduction in the payment to beneficiaries of the PATH Programme.

The Ministry wishes to advise that there has been no reduction in the benefits provided by the PATH Programme.

Beneficiaries are being reminded that children attending primary and secondary schools are required to maintain an 85% attendance record in order to receive the full payment of their benefits. The April 15th payment is based on school attendance during the months of January and February.

Beneficiaries who have queries on their payments are being asked to contact the Ministry’s office in their respective parishes.

The Ministry remains committed to addressing the concerns of our beneficiaries and to meeting the needs of the most vulnerable members of our society.
