Mr. President,

Honourable Members of the Senate,

I am pleased to report to this Honourable Senate on my first overseas engagements since my appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade. Let me express my full appreciation to the staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, including those at the Missions overseas, for the excellent support they provided, allowing me to represent our
country well at the various meetings.
