Tilapia tasting

Many persons have reservations about trying something new, especially when it comes to food. This could be out of fear, or a previous bad experience.

Since last year the National Fisheries Authority (NFA) launched a campaign to encourage Jamaicans to put aside their misconceptions about tilapia and eat more of the fish. Recently, the agency allowed patrons at the Denbigh Agricultural Industrial and Food show to sample the fish, and even offered discounted prices for products they had on sale.
