“Our association is cognizant that only through collaboration with key stakeholders, that we can make significant contribution to the development of Jamaica,” she said.

In her remarks, Chief Justice and Chairman of Archives Advisory Committee, Chief Justice, Zaila McCalla, said the matter of recordkeeping is of very great importance to the Supreme Court, as it is vital that records are easily accessible to litigants. The facilities of the Supreme Court are currently being expanded.

The LIAJ inducted three outstanding librarians as Honourary Members. They are: Ms Stephaney Ferguson; Mrs. Albertino Jefferson and Ms. Norma Amenu-Kpodo.
