Reconnecting with Sashagaye

Prime Minister Bruce Golding was delighted to see one of his Jamaica House Live fans, Sashagaye Thompson who he had given a wheel chair when she called and told him her story that led to her being placed in a wheelchair for life.

‘I’m now in High school, and I have not made my being in a wheelchair stop me’, 12 year old Sashagaye Thompson tells Prime Minister Bruce Golding when she came out to hear him launch the Tax Incentive Programme in Spanish Town on Wednesday (Oct 27), a programme designed to attract investment in the old capital. Sashagaye received a wheelchair from Prime Minister Bruce Golding after she called him on his talk-show programme, Jamaica House Live and explained her story that ended up in her being placed in a wheelchair.

She is now a student at the St. Catherine High school and came out to see PM launched the Tax Incentive Programme in Spanish Town designed to attract investment in the old capital on Wednesday (Oct 27).
