Reaper of Souls: A Novel of the Kendal Crash, written by Beverley East is now available through Amazon.com. The overwhelming success of the launch of the book in Jamaica on September 1, 2007 also marked the 50th Anniversary of the crash. Amazon.com offer the paperback edition of Reaper of Souls priced at US$15.95. Publishing house Great House OmniMedia Ltd. have issued a paperback edition to meet high demand in the North American market. Hardcopy editions will only be available through Sangster’s bookstore in Jamaica whilst stocks last.

The Kendal Crash was the worst rail disaster in history at the time. The tragedy took place on the night of September 1, 1957, near Kendal, Manchester, and claimed the lives of more than 250 people. Fourteen of those lost, nearly 6 per cent of all those killed, were members of the author’s family.
