The National Commission on Science and Technology is hard at work trying to boost science, technology and innovation in Jamaica.

50 exporters and export ready firms are set to benefit from capacity building, and market penetration support to enable them to be competitively positioned to take advantage of global market opportunities through an export development programme dubbed Export Max.

The constant pile-up of boxes and other refuse from the yuletide clean-up exercises going in homes and yards around the country. In preparation, and in some cases in response to the pile-up, the National Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA) is redoubling its efforts to keep communities clean.
