Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA) Now Under New Management

The strategy of Divestment has been an important part in the Government’s plan of boosting the efficiency of some state entities. One of the most recent examples was the move to divest the Norman Manley International Airport. Management of the facility was recently handed over to Mexican firm Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico GAP. Transport and Mining Minister Robert Montague says through continued pubic private partnerships Jamaica is demonstrating its committment to ensuring a favourable climate for investment.
