Members of the Jamaican Diaspora are increasing their contribution to the country’s growth agenda through the non-profit initiative Farm Up Jamaica. The organization, established in 2013, aims to transform agriculture in Jamaica by reducing the import of inorganic and genetically modified foods as well as increasing organic exports and creating jobs for young Jamaicans. Executive Director of Farm Up Jamaica, Neil Curtis, recently sat down with Ian Boyne to outline the objectives of the farming project.
