The Government is on a mission to diversify Jamaica’s energy mix and this involves the sourcing of alternatives to petroleum to power vehicles on a daily basis. The Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) is courting the use of compressed natural gas cng to fuel a section of its fleet and over a 6 month period, 5 buses will be used to examine the viability of this move.
