Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) offers the chance to sub-contract skillsets that are not found in a company. Marketing, accounting, sales, coding and animation are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the types of skills being outsourced to Jamaica and every day, the demand for skills in the technology sector grows. However, in Jamaica, the demand far outweighs the supply. Due to technological advancement and the rapid growth of the industry, many entry-level jobs have become obsolete. Jamaicans are therefore being challenged to upskill, to meet the change in industry demands.
