Jamaica’s Promise – 4-H Boy and Girl of the Year

The future of agriculture and youth innovation was highlighted and celebrated at the recently held Youth in Agriculture Expo at the 4-H Training Centre in Denbigh, Clarendon and 19-year-old student of Knox College Dwight Henry and 15-year-old Marymount High School student Tavia Robinson were the standouts among hundreds of students thanks to their creativity, dedication and passion in the field. Tavia Robinson was named 2025 Jamaica 4-H Clubs Girl of the Year at the event after winning the title at the parish level months before but going into the national event, she said as self-doubt downed on her, she was positive victory was not in her sphere.
