The Government is looking to fully acquire the Tranquillity Bay property in St. Elizabeth and transform it into an operational training campus for the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF).

The Statistical Institute of Jamaica (STATIN) is reporting that the inflation rate for April 2020 was 0.2 per cent. The rate was impacted by the reduction in the GCT from 16.5 per cent to 15 per cent which took effect April 1 this year.

The Ministry of Science, Energy and Technology and the Jamaica Public Service Company (JPS), have agreed that more will be done to address customers’ concerns about high electricity bills.
