The Agricultural Produce Receipt Book is a simple system designed to help the police verify the legitimacy of agricultural produce. How it works is that farmers will issue a receipt to buyers of produce. If the buyer is stopped by the police, he or she can show the police their receipt, to verify that the goods were purchased and not stolen.
