Some 73 surgeries were conducted during the recently concluded nine day mission stop of the USNS Comfort Hospital Ship to Jamaica. Deputy Chief of Mission at the United States Embassy in Kingston John McIntyre says scores of persons also turned up daily at Sabina Park and the Greater Portmore Health Centre where the Comfort team provided dental, optometry, dermatology, family medicine, women’s health, paediatrics and physical therapy services.
