- At a press conference at the Office of the Prime Minister in Kingston yesterday, (July 21), to close out his official visit to Jamaica, Dr. Rowley said Mr. Holness and his delegation, particularly the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Senator the Hon. Kamina Johnson Smith, and Attorney General, Hon. Marlene Malahoo Forte, were invited to the twin-island republic to continue the dialogue.
- Mr. Holness, in acknowledging the invitation, said it is important that ‘government to government’ relationship is strong, which will result in close fraternal links in culture, sports, education, as well as in trade and finance.

Prime Minister, the Most Hon. Andrew Holness, has formally accepted an invitation from Prime Minister of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. the Hon. Keith Rowley, to visit his country at the earliest opportunity for continuation of bilateral discussions.
At a press conference at the Office of the Prime Minister in Kingston yesterday, (July 21), to close out his official visit to Jamaica, Dr. Rowley said Mr. Holness and his delegation, particularly the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Senator the Hon. Kamina Johnson Smith, and Attorney General, Hon. Marlene Malahoo Forte, were invited to the twin-island republic to continue the dialogue.
Dr. Rowley said the visit would serve to further strengthen the relationship between the countries.
Dr. Rowley arrived in the island on July 17 and departed today.

The two Prime Ministers signed a joint communiqué at the press conference detailing the results of bilateral discussions during the visit, which include an agreement to strengthen bilateral cooperation, the resolution of immigration concerns, and the improvement of trade cooperation as well as cooperation on energy, culture, security and air and sea transportation.
