Minister of Education, Hon. Rev. Ronald Thwaites (fourth left), takes part in the symbolic handing over of a $100 million cheque from the HEART Trust/NTA to the Students’ Loan Bureau (SLB), to provide assistance to 250 tertiary students pursuing technical and vocational courses, as well as courses in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) disciplines, on Monday, February 22, at the Ministry of Finance and Planning, in Kingston.
