The conversation followed a High-Level Strategic Dialogue on the topic, “CARICOM: Vibrant Societies; Resilient Economies” at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre in Barbados on Thursday (July 2). During the Dialogue, which was held before the formal meeting of the 36th Regular Meeting of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community, the Executive Secretary of ECLAC pointed to Jamaica as a country in the regional grouping which was making significant progress in financing education.
