Prime Minister, the Most Hon. Portia Simpson Miller (2ndright), leads her delegation of senior officials of the Office of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade on arrival in Brussels, Belgium to attend a caucus meeting of Heads of State and Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) at the Mission of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States on Wednesday (June 10). The meeting of CARICOM leaders was to review the agenda and discuss national and regional positions ahead of the opening of the second summit of the European Union (EU) and the Community of Latin America and the Caribbean (CELAC), which takes place in that European city from June 10 to 11. Others from right are Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister, Onika Miller; a member of the Prime Minister’s personal protection team; Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Ambassador Paul Robotham; Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Senator AJ Nicholson; and Jamaica’s Ambassador to the European Union, Vilma McNish.
