Prime Minister, the Hon. Bruce Golding will be hosting his seventh Town Hall Meeting at the St. Gabriel’s Church, in May Pen, Clarendon, this Wednesday, September 23, at 7:00 p.m.
The Prime Minister will be supported by Minister of Transport & Works, Hon. Michael Henry; Minister of Labour and Social Security, Hon. Pearnel Charles; Minister of Energy and Mining, Hon. James Robertson, and Minister with responsibility for Information, Telecommunications and Special Projects, Hon. Daryl Vaz. Members of the business sector will also be in attendance.
The series of meetings provide the Prime Minister with the opportunity to meet with Jamaicans to discuss Government policies, programmes and the state of the nation. Residents of May Pen and adjoining areas will be able to speak directly with the Prime Minister to discuss issues and concerns and put forward a number of proposals on how they believe the Government can address some of the challenges head on.
To date, Town Hall meetings have been held in Mandeville, Manchester; Portmore, St. Catherine; Montego Bay, St. James; Ocho Rios, St. Ann; Junction, St. Elizabeth and Annotto Bay, St. Mary.
