Prime Minister Bruce Golding is expected to meet with Jamaicans residing in the islands of Montserrat and Antigua and Barbuda on Saturday, July 5.
Mr. Golding will be visiting Montserrat on Saturday at the invitation of that island’s Chief Minister, Dr Lowell Lewis. During his visit to Montserrat, Mr. Golding will meet with the Governor of Montserrat, Peter Waterworth and members of the Government. He will also tour the Montserrat Volcano Observatory, St George’s Hill, and Look Out at Caricom Hills.
He will meet with Jamaicans at the Montserrat Cultural Centre at 3:00pm before returning to Antigua where he is attending the 29th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).
Mr Golding will fly back to Antigua on Saturday evening where Jamaicans residing there will get the chance to meet with their Prime Minister at 8:00pm at the multi-purpose centre in St John’s. The meeting is being coordinated by the President of the Jamaica Antigua Association, Mr. Andy McDonald. Both meetings will provide the opportunity for Jamaicans residing in the islands to update Mr. Golding on issues of concern to them.
