This is as a result of urgent repair work being done on mechanical equipment at the Bogue water treatment plant.

NWC Community Relations Officer, Karen Brown told JIS News that every effort was being made to have all the repair work complete ahead of schedule.

“The communities to be affected are Bogue, Cabbage Valley, Georges Valley, Red Ground, Elim, Pipe Piece, College Road, Braes River, E3 Road and Langcaster,” she informed.

Miss Brown noted that customers who required “special assistance” could make contact through the Commission’s call centre, which can be accessed at1-888-CALL-NWC (1-888-225-5692).

She further advised householders to, “store water for use during this period as we are well aware of the importance of having access to potable water for daily use”.
