New Transfers Announced by PM Golding:

Prime Minister Bruce Golding has announced that the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of National Security, Major Richard Reese, is to be transferred and assigned as Director General to the Local Government Division in the Office of the Prime Minister.
In the interim, the Chief Technical Director in the Ministry of National Security, Miss Dianne McIntosh has been appointed to act as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of National Security.
Other changes will see Mr. Devon Rowe, who is currently the Director General in the Office of the Prime Minister, transferred to the Ministry of Finance and the Public Service as Director General. Mr. Rowe is a former Deputy Financial Secretary.
The transfers, which will take effect on March 15, 2010, are being made by the Governor General, acting on the advice of the Prime Minister and in accordance with section 126 (3) of the Constitution.
