Minister of National Security Thanks Commissioner Forbes

Following the announcement by the Police Service Commission regarding the early retirement of Mr. Francis A. Forbes, Commissioner of Police, Minister of National Security, Dr. the Honourable Peter D. Phillips has expressed his thanks to the Commissioner for his service to the Jamaica Constabulary Force and the country over the past thirty-four (34) years, eight (8) of these as Commissioner, and his contribution and support to the work of the Ministry of National Security throughout the period.
The Minister noted that Commissioner Forbes served with honour in very difficult times and has made a valuable contribution to the Jamaica Constabulary Force. He wished him every success as he proceeds on his new assignment in the service of the Caribbean region.
