The Full Story

The Honourable Olivia “Babsy” Grange, Minister of Information, Culture, Youth and Sports, has said that Byron Balfour, the late journalist and public relations practitioner, had been a true professional, practising his craft with admirable competence and flair.
Minister Grange’s comment comes in the wake of Mr. Balfour’s death yesterday morning.
“He was well-known inside and outside of the communication fraternity, having plied his trade at home and in North America and in so doing creating a reputation that anyone could be proud of,” Miss Grange said.
The Information Minister said it was sad for the media and the country that recently a number of communications persons had made their transitions in quick succession.
Minister Grange expressed her condolences to the family, friends and associates of Mr. Balfour.
