Minister Grange receives ICC World twenty|20 commemorative bat

The Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture, the Honourable Olivia Grange, MP has been presented with one of the special bats produced by the West Indies Cricket Board to commemorate the 2010 ICC World Twenty/Twenty series in the Caribbean.
Making the presentation to the Minister at her offices today (Friday), the Tournament Director of the World Twenty/Twenty series, Robert Bryan explained that Minister Grange was one of 15 people to receive personalised bats commemorating the event.
The American tennis player Serena Williams is among the list of 15. She was presented with a bat in Barbados.
Minister Grange said she was honoured to be among the special group of people receiving bats.
Minister Grange said:
“I feel privileged to be included among the ‘chosen few’ and I am very pleased to see that ‘Babsy’ is written on my bat.”
“I know that the 2010 ICC Twenty/Twenty series in the West Indies will provide lots of excitement for cricket fans and I am hoping that the West Indies will come out on top.”
