Minister Grange Congratulates New President of the Press Association of Jamaica

The Honourable Olivia “Babsy” Grange, Minister of Information, Culture, Youth and Sports has extended congratulations to the new President of the Press Association of Jamaica (PAJ), Byron Buckley.
Minister Grange said that she expects that Mr. Buckley and his team will advance the programmes conducted by the PAJ on behalf of its members.
She said also that, “Now more than ever the press needs to demonstrate an understanding of the issues and fairness and balance in their reporting, matters which the Press Association must be vigilant about.”
As Minister of Information, Miss Grange wished Mr. Buckley and his new administration well and extended an invitation to them to call on her if the PAJ so desires.
