Spearheaded under the Government of the United Kingdom (UK)-funded Violence Prevention Partnership Programme (VPPP), the tour is a flagship initiative led by the Ministry of Education, Skills, Youth and Information in collaboration with the Ministries of National Security and Health and Wellness, and the Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ). The initiative supports the Citizen Security Plan and Inter-Ministerial School Support Strategy (IMSS), reinforcing national efforts to create safe and supportive learning environments.
