JUTC to Provide Transport for ATI Party in Negril

The Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) has extended its charter service to transport patrons to the Appleton Temptation Isle (ATI) party series in Negril over the Independence weekend, Friday, August 3 to Monday, August 6.

The ultra-luxury buses will leave Half-Way Tree Transport Centre, Manor Park Plaza, Portmore Mall Lay-by and the JUTC Bus Park in Spanish Town twice per day over the four-day period.

On Friday, August 3, the buses will leave the various pick-up points at 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. then depart from Negril at 5:00 a.m. the next day.

On Saturday and Sunday, departure times at the various Kingston locations will be 7:00 a.m. and 12 noon, then 5:00 a.m. next day from Negril.

Buses will leave Kingston on the final day of the event at 7:00 a.m. and depart Negril at 4:00 a.m.the following morning.

Bus tickets will cost $4,000 per person round trip; $2,500 one-way and $3,750 per person for groups of six. The deadline for purchasing tickets is July 31.

Persons can purchase bus tickets at Cuddies, New Kingston; Face Forward, Orchid Village, Barbican Road; Bling Bling, Lane Plaza; Petcom, Portmore, and Half-Way Tree Transport Centre.

Corporate Communications Manager at JUTC, Reginald Allen, said the company decided to extend its charter service, which allows persons to travel in comfort and style to special events.

"ATI is high energy environment where people are expected to have fun and be pampered and we will be able to do that with our luxury buses,” Mr. Allen noted, adding that the JUTC has the most comprehensive and complete fleet of luxury buses in the entire country.

"Our premium service is second to none in Jamaica, in terms of the type of buses, DVD player, bathroom facility, reclining seats, and specially trained operators…all you can think of in chartered public transportation,” he outlined.
