The Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC), will be extending its night service on New Year’s Eve, Wednesday, December 31.

Marketing and Communications Manager at the JUTC, Clinton Clarke, told JIS News that the State owned bus company will operate until three in the morning on New Year’s Day.

Mr. Clarke said the move is to facilitate persons who will be out late on New Year’s Eve.

“We are therefore making certain that the service is extended to facilitate all those who are going to be out, especially the commuters who are going to be patrons at the fire- works on the waterfront,” he said.

Mr. Clarke said fares will remain unchanged for the extension and passengers can expect great service from the company throughout the night.

The JUTC night service generally ends between 10:00 and 11:00 p.m.
