Test results for the three patients placed in isolation on suspicion of having the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have all come back negative. All three patients will now be discharged. The Ministry of Health and Wellness says the results for the first patient were received from the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Wednesday, while those of the second and third patients were received from the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) on Thursday.

The Government is proposing to spend 852.7 billion dollars for the 2020/21 financial year according to the Estimates of Expenditure tabled in the House of Representatives on Tuesday. A breakdown of the 852.7 billion dollar figure shows some 527.6 going towards non-debt above the line expenditure, with 453.4 billion for recurrent expenses and 74.2 billion for capital projects. 287.8 billion dollars will be used for debt-servicing.
