The Production Division comprises three departments – Radio, Television and Computer Services. However it plays a coordinating role in the work of other departments to ensure effective coverage and superior quality productions resulting in the timely dissemination of government information in a cost effective manner.
The Division also spearheads the Agency’s response to National and International events such as state and official visits and functions. In this regard, it carries out duties such as accreditation and marshalling of the media in state events while liaising with the Office of the Prime Minister for the successful execution of these events.
For the 2013-2014 fiscal year the division will review existing production processes for efficiency and effectiveness with the goal of maintaining the agency’s record as the leading source of government information, in keeping with the GOJ’s Strategic Priorities. Â
